This is the new 5 series. Or maybe it’s the current one, or the 3 series....who knows?
Anyways, it’ll be available with DIY gears. But only on the 520d (which as it happens is about the only model anybody buys where I am).
Live somewhere you don’t get a 520d? Two pedals only for you. Still only eight speeds which seems a little passé when consider that the equivalent Merc goes one better
just to be one up
for improved efficiency.

The front looks different. That’s all I got.

I do believe BMW is killing most of their enthusiast credibility they had left. These new BMWs tend to be well built, but as bland as something Japanese and as uninspired as something South Korean.

I think you should have had “Kia K900" in your tags for maximum trolling.

Great news for me. My car won’t look dated for a while. They literally took the F30 and stretched it.

I live in a world without a Kia K900 though (is it a thing?)
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

It’s nice that they have sharpened the front. Blunt face was my biggest peeve with the F10.

I suppose it’s sort of a thing. Like the relatively nice piece of pottery that one’s aunt gave one - always sort of visible at all times but not really something one does much with and it’s not really worth explaining or exploring further unless one likes pottery.
Sales are really smaller than it deserves as a competent and not-insane RWD luxury, very decent across the board, but perhaps not much in the way of unique selling points.
